E3 2017 - Games I'm looking forward to (Part 1)

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is an annual videogame convention, where those in the industry can share what they've been working on. Today is the last day of E3 so I feel safe pointing out some of the games that have me excited.

Cool looking games

There were quiet a few games shown off between all of the different publishers, but I believe the following games not only look exciting, but will also not disappoint when it comes to gameplay.

Metro Exodus is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. It is the third instalment in the Metro video game series based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels. It is set to follow the events of Metro: Last Light and Metro 2035.

While I haven't played the second game in the series, I really enjoyed the first Metro game, Metro 2033. The games mix of survival, horror, and action, with top notch graphics. The video above was done in engine, so the final game should look just as good.

State of Decay 2 is an upcoming survival video game developed by Undead Labs and published by Microsoft Studios. It is a sequel to the 2013 video game State of Decay.

While there are a lot of games in the zombie genre, State of Decay is different, in that you manage a group of survivors, instead of one lone hero. In the game you take turns controller different individuals in the group, trying to ensure that you have the resources to survive, and that they stay together.

Sea of Thieves is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Studios for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.

In this game you go on an seafaring adventure to explore uncharted waters, get booty, play music, and drink ale with your mates. This appears to be an online only game, but early impressions indicate that it is a load of fun to play with your friends.

So that's the end of part one. I'll update this blog again soon with part 2.
